5 Star Accommodation at Cheap Rates

With the world in recession and perhaps not heading out of it for some time to come and with people wanting to save to hedge against inflation, recover past losses on investments and to be seen not to be wasteful, they are tending to seek out bargain prices on accommodation when they travel. One of the advantages of an apartment stay in Cape Town, means that a quality, star graded apartment for a group of friends, a family or even single business people, is that they don’t have to spend a fortune to have a 5 star experience.

In South Africa, that means the Tourism Grading’s Star standards, from one to five stars, all of which mean that you will be safe and know exactly what to expect.  There should be no nasty surprises waiting for you and if a self catering apartment is what you are looking for, also know that the company looking after you who manages the property and guest services, is also part of the grading process.  So service levels should be as high as the stars that the actual apartment gets.  With these recessionary times, it is possible to pick up a real bargain, especially off-season, in a selection of 5 star apartments in Cape Town’s Waterfront. But check that the cut rate has not meant that services are also cut, meaning you don’t even get a bar of soap or a tea bag. Ask what is included. Will the parking bay be an extra charge? Will you have to pay extra for a housekeeping service on weekends?  Prepare and you will not be disappointed.
